ReframeDay 22 of 30·In the app: Mr. Relentless

Day 22: Anger, Translated

Today's prompt

Take the anger from Day 11 and write it as a request. “I’m angry that ___” becomes “I need ___.” Say the second version out loud, to the room if nobody is in it. Notice which one was harder to say.

Read the prompt above twice. Once fast, once slow. Notice what your first reaction wants to be. That reaction is data.

Anger gets you heard. A request gets you helped. You have been settling for heard.

You can sit with this for 5 minutes today and put it down. You can come back tomorrow. There's no completion gate, no streak, no score. The work is the reward — and the work is just paying attention to what came up when you read it.

Today's companion

Mr. Relentless

tough-love, direct

“Anger gets you heard. A request gets you helped. You have been settling for heard.”

In the app, Mr. Relentless pushes back on what you wrote. No platitudes. He'll surface the part you skipped.

Sparks

ILTY keeps your words verbatim. On your Day 30 you see your Day-1 sentence next to the Day-30 one, the mood map of your 30 days, and the arc between them. Join any day in November; the 30 days are yours, at your own pace, with 60 days to finish. In the app it starts with a 7-day free trial.

Mr. Relentless will make you say the second one.→
