Today's prompt
Think of the last time you were angry. Write what the anger was protecting: a fear, a hurt, a need. Stay with the layer underneath for five minutes, even if it is uncomfortable. Especially if it is.
Read the prompt above twice. Once fast, once slow. Notice what your first reaction wants to be. That reaction is data.
Anger is a bodyguard. Useful. But you have been talking to the bodyguard instead of the person it works for.
You can sit with this for 5 minutes today and put it down. You can come back tomorrow. There's no completion gate, no streak, no score. The work is the reward — and the work is just paying attention to what came up when you read it.
